A CHEAP RIDETM has been in business since 2006, and although we no longer offer immediate local taxi service, we still offer low, flat-rate fares on pre-scheduled transportation to anywhere in Texas from our base area in the Williamson and North Travis County area. We are not a shared-ride shuttle service, but we offer private transportation to many towns and all major airports in Texas from Round Rock, Hutto, Georgetown, Jarrell, Salado, Belton, Temple, Liberty Hill, Bertram, and Burnet. A CHEAP RIDETM  offers flat-rate fares that are cheaper in most cases than UberXL or LyftPlus. All we ask is that you pre-schedule your trip and we will show up on time as requested. You and your family, or friends, are our only customers, so we will be there when YOU want us to be there. There is no need to become a member, or download an app, or sign up using a smart phone, just to get a clean, comfortable, safe and affordable ride to your destination. We may be a little old-fashioned, but we have provided friendly, dependable service to thousands of satisfied customers for over 15 years now. We have completed thousands of safe trips all over Texas, and we simply offer better service at affordable rates. Please keep in mind that we often get booked in advance for early morning airport transportation, so our availability is limited for early morning pickup requests to the Austin airport. We don't recommend other services because we always get blamed when they don't show up, but we will be more than happy to provide you phone numbers to other services in the area if we are not available.

Please keep in mind that we pick up passengers from all over the world, and it is important for us to know if there is a risk of exposure. If you have not been vaccinated, or do not wish to tell us whether or not you have been vaccinated, we ask that you please wear a mask for the duration of your trip. If you prefer that our driver wears a mask for your comfort, please let us know and we will be glad to accommodate your request. We are also asking all customers to please inform us immediately if you have experienced any symptoms of the virus, or if you have been in contact with others that have displayed symptoms or if you have tested positive for the virus. What We Do

We started as a local taxi service in Round Rock in 2006, but as we added regular airport transportation customers over the years, we began to receive more and more requests for pre-scheduled trips to the Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio airports because it is often cheaper and much easier to travel internationally from these hub airports. Since we offer simple, low, flat-rate fares, customers found our rates to be a much better value than the meter-based taxi services. We no longer offer local taxi service, but we offer airport transportation, as well as long-distance service to anywhere in Texas from our base area in Round Rock, Hutto, Georgetown, Jarrell, Salado, Belton, and Temple. We also offer pre-scheduled trips from Liberty Hill, Burnet, and Marble Falls. If you don't see your community listed, please feel free to text us at 512-310-8000.

We still have great flat-rate fares to ABIA Austin airport, the Megabus stop, the Amtrak station, area Greyhound stations and other destinations. However, if you need to go further, we offer some of the lowest private transportation rates to DFW Dallas-Ft. Worth airport, IAH Houston Bush Intercontinental airport, SAT San Antonio airport, as well as the Galveston cruise port. We can also get you to many other cities in Texas such as New Braunfels, San Marcos, Wimberley, Blanco, Johnson City, Fredricksburg, Kerrville, San Angelo, Lubbock, Llano, San Saba, Waco, Tyler, Longview, Texarkana, Beaumont, Victoria, Corpus Christi, Brownsville, Laredo, El Paso, Amarillo, or anywhere else in Texas you need to go.
